Contoh Kalimat Present ContinousTense - Pada kesempatan ini pak guru akan membahas sedikit tentang bentuk waktu dalam bahasa inggris atau yang lebih dikenal dengan masalah ‘TENSES’. Bentuk present tense yang selanjutnya adalah bentuk continuous atau sedang dilakukan sekarang. Bentuk ini ditandai dengan kata kerja (verb word+ -ing) dalam kalimatnya. Let’s check these out :)

Bentuk dan rumusan kalimat Present Continuous Tense

Present continuous tense adalah suatu bentuk kalimat yang kata kerjanya digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu kejadian yang sedang dilakukan sekarang atau waktu saat ini. Biasanya ditandai dengan keterannganwaktu sekarang (now), hari ini (today), this day (hari ini), dll.

Adapun yang perlu diingat dalam menyusun kalimat bentuk tense ini adalah kita perlu tahu subjek kalimatnya tunggal atau jamak, kemudian juga perlu diperhatikan saat penggunaan kata kerja, berikut rumusannya:
 

Kalimat present continuous tense positif

S	To be	Verb word+ ing	O	M
She	Is	watering	flowers	at garden
They	Are	reading	novels	now

Kalimat present continuous tense negatif

S	To be	Not	Verb word+ ing	O	M
She	is	not	watering	flowers	at garden
They	are	not	reading	novels	Now

Kalimat present tense bentuk Tanya

To be	S	Verb word+ ing	O	M
Is	she	watering	flowers	at garden?
are	they	reading	novels	now?

1.      Kalimat positif

a.       Rani is going to the school by bus today.

b.      Hermy and Ron are loving to read book.

c.       They are keeping running far away.

d.      He is bringing many books.

e.       I am eating soto now.

f.       You are repairing this computer when iam coming.

g.      She is cooking the food for her husband.

2.      Kalimat negatif

a.         Rani isn’t going to the school by bus today.

b.         Hermy and Ron aren’t loving to read book.

c.         They aren’t keeping running far away.

d.        He isn’t bringing many books.

e.         I am not eating soto now.

f.          You aren’t repairing this computer when I am coming.

g.         She isn’t cooking the food for her husband.

h.      Kalimat Tanya

a.         Is Rani going to the school by bus today?

b.         Are Hermy and Ron loving to read book?
